Retail Shop Questions
I don’t get it. What is Moonride?
In Story: Moonride is an intergalactic network of transit systems and trading posts founded in the Zolcentra solar system, where beings from anywhere in the universe can connect, collaborate and trade.
In Reality: Moonride is an immersive retail experience and community of creative entrepreneurs.
What is an “immersive retail experience”?
Most of the products, goods and art in the Moonride: Trading Post are tied to a backstory and lore connected to the characters in our Moonride Universe.
Can I sell my art at the Moonride Trading Post?
Maybe! — Contact us and tell us what you’re looking to sell. hi.moonride@gmail.com
One-of-a-kind /. Limited run / Ships from HQ / Print-on-demand
One-of-a-kind: One-of-a-kind pieces are handmade artisan-crafted items that are all individually made and no one else will ever have an exact duplicate of. All one-of-a-kind goods are shipped from our HQ in Seattle, WA.
Limited Run: Limited run items are made in small batches. Not one-of-a-kind, but printed or manufactured in quantities of 250 or less.
Ships from HQ: Anything labeled as “Ships from HQ” will ship from our Moonride headquarters in Seattle, WA.
Print-on-demand: Print-on-demand items are printed by our fulfillment partner Printful.com after you place your order, and shipped from one of their facilities.
Shipping from HQ vs. Print-on-demand
If your order includes items being shipped out from our HQ AND items fulfilled by our print-on-demand partner, Printful you may incur multiple shipping costs, and items will be shipped separately from multiple locations.
One-of-a-kind & Handmade = imperfections
Items labeled as “One-of-a-kind” may not be perfect! They are artisan made and therefore perfectly imperfect as-is. If you purchase a one-of-a-kind item, you are not eligible for a return or exchange unless you receive the wrong item, or the item is unusable.
I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?
We’re so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at hi.moonride@gmail.com within a weeks' time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!
Return Policy
We don’t offer returns and exchanges, but if there’s something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us at hi.moonride@gmail.com.
If an order comes damaged or the incorrect item arrives, you are eligible for a return.
Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
If your order included a print-on-demand item, we will need to forward your claim to our fulfillment partner Printful.com and work with them on a solution.
The return address should correspond with the facility it was sent from. In the US if you can’t find this original fulfillment address, please use: 217 Wrangler Drive, Coppell, Texas, 75019. When we receive a returned shipment, an automated email notification will be sent to you. Unclaimed returns get donated to charity after 30 days. If Printful's facility isn't used as the return address, you would become liable for any returned shipments you receive.
Community Questions
What is the Moonride Creative Community?
We are a group of creative entrepreneurs supporting each other's endeavors.
We meet monthly for a video call on the first Monday of each month, and host co-working sessions and chats throughout the week. We primarily connect on Discord. Check out the Community page for more info.
I'm not an artist, can I join?
If you are a chill, big-hearted person who runs a small business or aspires to make art in any way, you can join! If you don't think you're an artist or a creative, you might be wrong. :)
Are there rules?
Yes! We have some basic ground rules for our community.
1. We are an inclusive community that welcomes all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs. Barring an extreme intolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other form of hate speech. Violators will be permanently banned from our community.
2. While we welcome self-promotion, aggressive spamming is a bad look. Be tactful.
3. Risque is okay; pornographic and gore, not so much. Again, be tactful. If anything “toes the line”, please make sure it lives exclusively within the NSFW-tagged channels. (reminder to check [https://discord.com/guidelines] to see what’s permissible on this platform).
4. If somebody’s work or speech may be triggering, we first welcome dialogue. Furthermore, you are encouraged to block/mute the user or close your messages, though if your safety feels threatened, please contact the organizers.
5. Sharing your direct contact information is welcomed (though at your own risk), but listing someone else's personal information on our server without approval is a very serious offense and will result in an immediate ban. You are welcome to reach out to the server organizers to see if a member is willing to share their personal contact information.
6. Please refrain from mass mentioning; if you wish to get someone's attention then find an alternative method.
7. You're welcome to make suggestions for other folks projects, but if you share an idea you give up ownership of that idea, and you can't control if or how it gets implemented. Idea sharing is welcome, but if you are precious about your ideas, keep them to yourself.
8. Try to have fun. Don't be a dick. Life is short. Nobody's got time for immature bullshit.
